Went out with family yesterday evening as I need to have a pedicure at Essensuals Beauty Hair & Nail Spa. I usually go there coz one of their manicurists – Juliet can remove my ingrown nails properly without me screaming to be rescued. I was already starving before I had my pedicure done. It took me an hour before I am fully done with pedicure. Did not have any fancy nail arts design this time coz it’s time for my nails to breathe.
Bought a headband from iTop coz Ing asked me to. It’s B$9.90 and she’s lucky coz it was the last piece left.
Had dinner with parents at this restaurant called Soon Soon Lai Restaurant which is located at Menglait. It’s located below a restaurant which was previously known as Big Thumb Restaurant. Easily spotted coz Soon Soon Lai Restaurant is just at the corner of the building. We were supposed to go Hing Nam Fong Restaurant but my mom heard the wrong name and we ended up at Chin Nam Hong Restaurant instead. I was too lazy to think of how to get to Hing Nam Fong Restaurant so my mom suggested we go Soon Soon Lai Restaurant instead.
There weren’t much options available. I wanted to try their Curry Noodles but decided not to since I have an extremely weak stomach. Lesson learnt! π

It’s been a while since I last had this. This is called Teh-C Special, otherwise known as Three Layered Tea. The dark colored liquid at the very bottom is actually brown sugar syrup. Some people said it’s Gula Melaka but I think they were all the same coz they fall under the same category – sugar! The centered layer is condensed milk and the brown colored liquid is tea, of course. π
Had θ±ζηͺζι₯. It’s a dish with deep fried marinated pork cutlets along with two pieces of ham luncheon meat and an egg, with sunny side up. I liked the way they cooked the egg. Nice! You can either choose to have your rice to be fried or just normal plain rice. I liked the ham luncheon meat but it was a bit too salty. The pork cutlets were a little bit dry but still acceptable.

Food was served rather quickly and the place was hygienic enough. Some other blogger reviewed about their Penang Fried Kueh Tiaw, am thinking of trying it some other time. Hahaha … π
