I am supposed to update my blog since days ago but I just don’t feel like doing so. Updating it now coz I have got nothing to do at the moment. Not gonna write too much this time coz my brain is completely blank to think of what to write. Just gonna post some pictures from few days ago.

1. Curry Puff

From Ching Nam Fong Kopitiam. One of my colleagues bought 15 pieces for all of us in the office during high tea break. No wonder none of us could slim down all these while. Hahaha … We are always fed with good food! xD

2. Homemade Spaghetti Bolognaise

I made this as breakfast yesterday morning. Cooked it with big onion, minced chicken breast and button mushrooms. I think I’ve overcooked the pasta and the pasta sauce is not enough. I should have poured in more pasta sauce. I preferred the pasta sauce that I bought few weeks ago. It’s sweeter rather than sourish. Frankly speaking, I think I can cook better Spaghetti Bolognaise 3 years ago!

3. Tuna Omelet

The tuna inside the omelet is not that obvious. An invention of Ing during college years. I used Ayam Brand Chili Tuna Mild and mixed them with the eggs. My colleagues said they tasted good coz the eggs had completely omitted the smell of tuna. We were supposed to have it for lunch but we had it during high tea break instead with a loaf of bread.

This is all for now.

Hoping that I can have something better to write soon. xD

Review: Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+

Sister got me Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+ from the duty free shop at Changi International Airport while she was waiting for her next flight to Hong Kong. Initially, I asked her to get this for me from HK but then it’s way cheaper in SG. So, she got it for me from SG instead. Got this at a very good deal. It comes in a pack of 3 items, namely Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum, Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Protective Emulsion SPF15 and Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Moisturizing Emulsion. And it’s only S$230 for the above mentioned 3 items. Cheap or not???!!!! There’s a reason why I said the it’s cheap. The individual price for Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+ alone is already S$159 and S$78 for a bottle of Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Protective Emulsion SPF15. So, Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Moisturizing Serum is basically FREE!!!

Anyways, I’ve finished a bottle of Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+ and I am extremely satisfied with the results that it had given me. It was really as good as it claimed to be. The results hadn’t been extremely obvious when I started using the product for about a month or two. But over the past two months, I had seen a much more obvious and visible effect that the product had done to my skin. My complexion was a lot a fairer and my acne scars marks seems to have lightened up a lot! The texture of the liquid isn’t very thick. As a matter of fact, it’s quite runny and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy at all. I have an oily skin so I would usually avoid oil based skincare products at all cost. Most of my moisturizers are all gel type.

If you want a much more visible results, I would suggest using Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Moisturizing Emulsion at night. I’ve just started a new bottle of it when I thought my usual Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Moisturizing Gel seems to have lost it’s effect on my skin.

Anyways, here comes my review on the product.

1. I liked how it smoothed my skin tone after application.
2. It’s not greasy and sticky at all.
3. It comes in dispenser form, more hygienic.
4. It had lightened up most of my old acne scars marks!

1. Price is on the steep side!

Repeat Purchase? Yes!

Mom made me Minced Pork Porridge this morning for breakfast since there was leftover rice from yesterday dinner. My throat had been scratchy for days but I think it got better after I drank a bottle of medicinal tea yesterday.

Was supposed to blog about yesterday’s dinner, which was porridge also. But I did not take any picture of my food. Lucky that I did not coz there was nothing to shout about anyways. It was smooth but I think they put too much oil.

Planned to watch Dark Shadows after dinner with friend but then the seating left were too close to the screen. So, we left The Mall pretty early and went home. He dropped me off at my office to collect my car. I was supposed to meet him at Times Square but God knows why he picked me up from my office instead.

I guess this is all for now. Gonna blog about my reviews on Shiseido White Lucent Spot Targeting Serum+ soon. Stay tune!

Review: Fish & Co., Citis Square

Most of you should have known that a franchise restaurant was just newly opened in town last Friday. I am completely clueless about Fish & Co until I Google-d it when Jia asked me if Fish & Co. opened a branch in Brunei. The place was still fully packed when Jia and I patronage the place yesterday. There was already few groups of people waiting to be seated at the waiting area. Lucky that it didn’t took long enough before we were seated, only about five minutes before we were led to a table for two.

The restaurant was pretty huge in size. I think it has the biggest square feet if compared to the other franchise restaurants in town like Secret Recipe, KFC, Swensen’s, McDonalds and so on. Before we went there, I had done a research on the Internet on their menu. It has been a habit of mine since a while ago. Hahaha … Not sure when, where and who I picked up from.

1. Fried Calamari (B$10.95)

A little bit disappointed with their Fried Calamari coz the batter isn’t that crispy. But Jia said that it was crispy. The batter had turned a little bit soggy by the time it reached our table. I am just not satisfied with the batter itself. The good thing is that the calamari is still juicy and not hard. The waiter asked what sauce would I like to have to go with the Fried Calamari. They do not have any mayonnaise salad left but Chili Sauce and Tartar Sauce only. So, I had Tartar Sauce.

2. New York Fish & Chips (B$12.95)

I got this for myself. Intrigued by the description of the food on the menu. It comes with Parmesan cheese stuffing and topped with their lemon butter sauce. Indeed there is Parmesan cheese stuffing but not as generous as claimed on the menu. The batter is extremely crispy that it fell apart when you are slicing it off. And it’s crunchy, which is a good thing. You will be extremely full if you are able to finish the whole thing off. I don’t really like their chips though. I still prefer fries from McDonalds and KFC more. Hahaha …

3. Arctic Fish & Chips (B$12.95)

Jia wanted The Best Fish & Chips In Town! at first but the waiter told her that they don’t have that at the moment, no idea why. So, she had Arctic Fish & Chips instead. It’s pollock coated with batter and topped with their butter lemon sauce. Jia had two pieces of fish whilst I had one only. She only managed to finish a piece and she had the rest takeaways including the chips. Jia claimed that Fish & Co. in Brunei cooks better than the Fish & Co. in KK. However, she was unsure why her friend told her that the one in Brunei is not nice.

Our leftover food takeaways wrapped in aluminum foil in the shape of a basket!

Rating: 8.5 out of 10

Verdict: I couldn’t find anything that I am unhappy about as customer service was good despite food came pretty slow. That couldn’t be a reason for me to be unhappy for their services as the whole place was fully packed with customers. They did informed us that waiting time shall be about 15 to 20 minutes, but I think we had waited for more than that. Staff was friendly and they came pretty quickly to our services when we waved at them. Bill doesn’t take forever to come.
