What’s In My Skincare Travel Pouch? #3

I will be on the way to Miri in another few hours for an overnight trip to meet some friends, visit a traditional clinic, do my hair at Hair Clipperz, collect my online skincare purchases and Artistry products from Ing. So, I’ll be doing another What’s In My Skincare Pouch today. They are pretty much the same like my previous two post on What’s In My Skincare Pouch #1 and #2. Hopefully, you won’t feel bored reading them.

The first thing which I realized from this picture after extracting it out from my digital camera into my computer was that majority of my skincare products are now from Kose except for a few holy grail products from Shiseido. I know these are not travel sized products. My skin condition hasn’t at tip top condition after using an unknown facial cleansing tissue. It broke out a little on the same evening after usage. There were better now but to be on the safe side, I am switching some of the products back to Kose.

I’ll start from the left to the right. If you had observed carefully, I had arranged the skincare products in order based on how I use them.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Solution Micellaire: I requested Patrick to get this for me from Guardian Pharmacy, Singapore before I flew to there last May. This is one good cleansing water. It was able to remove all the dirt and grime on my face after a long, tiring and hectic day. I don’t have to worry about clogged pores when I am using this since this is a water based remover and there’s no way that it would clog your pores. I would turn to this product whenever I am feeling lazy.

Price: S$15.90 (100ml) & S$29.90 (250ml)

Kose Sekkisei White Liquid Wash: Got this in a Kose Sekkisei trial pack from Singapore Changi International Airport Duty Free Shop whereby it came with Kose Sekkisei Lotion and Kose Sekkisei Emulsion. It cleanses my skin as well as some of the other facial cleansers which I had used or currently using. But if you have an oily combination skin, I would suggest you cut low on the dosage as this facial cleanser is much recommended for dry to normal skin.

Price: RM124 (East Malaysia) & S$42 (Singapore)

Kose Seikisho Clear Lotion: I had been leaving this product aside for almost two weeks ever since I got myself Laneige Clear-C Effector, which I find to be much more effective compared to the former product. Both works about the same but the latter is more like a skin booster while the former is used to remove the remaining dirt and grime after double cleansing.

Price: S$33 (Sephora) S$28 (Singapore Changi International Airport) RM93 (East Malaysia)

Kose Sekkisei Lotion: This is my favorite toner or lotion nowadays. I used to favor Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Softener. But I loved Kose Sekkisei Lotion more after trying it. I am currently on my second bottle of the said lotion, which is in the size of 500ml.

Price: RM255 (360ml) & RM298 (500ml)

Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum+: This is my holy grail product for dark spots and scar marks. I am currently on my third bottle. Albeit the steep price, I am still sticking with this product after an unfortunate experience with Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector.

Price: RM420 (East Malaysia)

Kose Sekkisei Emulsion: This used to be my day and night moisturizer for quite some time. But I am returning back to Laneige Water Bank Essence currently in order to finish the product off. The reason why I am bringing this instead of Laneige Water Bank Essence is that this is more portable and I don’t have to worry about breakage. What I like about this Kose Sekkisei Emulsion is that it’s quite watery and light for my skin to absorb.

Price: RM177 (East Malaysia)

Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Gentle Hydrating Cream: I just bought this cream from like 2 weekends ago and I had only used it once. The texture was neither light nor thick. But I still find it slightly too heavy for my skin for the time being. So, I am bringing it with me this time round to check if it’s still too heavy on my skin when I am sleeping in an air-conditioned room.

Price: B$85

Kose Sekkisei Eye Cream: Got friend to get this for me when he was in Miri for his CPA examination. I was a little bit bored with Biotherm Skin.Ergetic Eyes so I bought one for myself to try since Jennie highly recommended it for being a money saver. But do not even bother to try applying too much on your eye areas lest it will look extremely oily.

Price: RM175

Shiseido Multi-Defense UV Protector SPF50 PA+++: After coming back from Singapore, I sort of realized the importance of sunscreens. But the BA at Elizabeth Arden once told me that we do not need a sunscreen with huge coverage if we won’t be staying outdoor for a long time. The ideal coverage for sunscreen is about SPF30 to SPF35. Unless you will be exposed to sunlight for a long time, then SPF50 would be the most ideal coverage. And since I would be outdoor most of the time on this Miri trip, I brought this instead of Shiseido Urban Environment UV Protector Extra Mild SPF30 PA++.

Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Good Morning Retexturing Primer: I bought this more than half a year ago and only started using it religiously for about a month. This product can help you set your makeup in place or prevent bad substances or whatever going into our pores. In short, this product acts like a shield in protecting harmful substances from going into your pores and worsen your skin condition. What I love the most about this product is that it gives a matte finishing with the dose of a red bean and it will be able to cover your whole face.

Price: B$65

I think I am bringing the most skincare products this time round. Hahaha … And hopefully, you haven’t fall asleep by now. LOL!
