I went out quite early this morning as the neighbors were having a Malay wedding reception. Hence majority road access in our neighborhood were blocked for the setting up of tents. I only came back around half past three when Mom said that all the guests had left. I had quite a lot of things done this morning. I had hair wash, eyebrow trimming, manicure and pedicure. All done in one morning.
I had lunch at Kaizen Sushi Waterfront. I had wanted to try Piccolo Cafe but it was closed when I went there. Hence I decided to lunch at Kaizen Sushi Waterfront as it had been a while since I last had Japanese cuisine. Drove to Gadong after lunch as I wanted to buy some candles from Euro Classic Collection. And Hua Ho, Kiulap for grocery shopping.
Bought a diffuser and mini scented candles from Euro Classic Collection. I wanted to buy the biggest pot of Rose Garden scented candle available in the store but it was priced B$47.90. It was a little bit too expensive for me so I decided to get a small size diffuser for trial and a pack of mini scented candles. Both with the scent of Rose Garden.
Without further ado, let me show you what I had for lunch! They were my regular to order dishes at Kaizen Sushi Waterfront but I had something different this time round compared to what I usually had.
Inari Sake Sarada | B$4.50
The original Inari Sake Sarada comes with rice inside the tofu pockets but I requested mine without the rice. So, it was extra charge. I think the one with rice was around B$3.60 to B$3.90. But without the rice, it was B$4.50. There were generous amount of salmon cubes with cucumbers tossed with some kind of sweet mayonnaise dressing.
Sake Maki | B$2.70
One of my favorite dishes at Kaizen Sushi Waterfront. They used fresh salmon sashimi and seaweed sheets. I had wanted to order their Temaki but decided to go for this one instead since I had already ordered Inari Sake Sarada.
Tendon | B$8.10
My main course! Tendon is deep fried prawns in tempura coated batter with rice. My Tendon came with three tempura prawns and a piece of sweet potato tempura. Side dishes were miso soup and “potatoes” sticks with beef bacon? It was a filling dish but unfortunately one of the prawns wasn’t very fresh as it tasted kinda mushy.
This was one of the side dishes which I mentioned earlier on. I only had one of the potato sticks just for the sake of knowing whether it was potato or radish. Left the remaining untouched as I don’t eat beef.
