Decided to do a food entry on Element Fresh today as I do not feel like doing a lengthy blog entry before I hit the sack. But no worry, I will be back with a slightly lengthy blog entry on GATTEN SUSHI soon.
I headed to Element Fresh on my own after my 90 minutes therapy session in which Sister had booked for me at Green Massage. I had been wanting to try Element Fresh but never gotten round to do so on my previous Shanghai trip last September. So, decided to give it a go this time round since there is a branch in K11.
Clam Pasta with Cream & Pesto | RMB78
Shell pasta sauteed with baby clams, bacon, fresh leeks, dry vermouth, cream, roasted garlic and homemade pesto sauce.
A not bad dish but I find the pasta to be slightly too bland for my preference. And I remembered that I did not feel like full after polishing off the entire dish as I was probably too famished after therapy session. LOL!
New York Style Cheesecake | RMB36
I liked this cheesecake a lot. It was one of the cheesecakes which I was able to finish the entire slice. I would usually avoid ordering cheesecake for desserts as there is a high possibility that I w will not be able to finish unless I am extremely craving for it.
It has an extremely creamy texture in which it melts on your tongue. Sweetness level was just perfect when you smeared the cheesecake against the blueberry sauce. And you would not feel sick even if you finished the entire slice. Do try this cheesecake if you are a huge fan of New York Style Cheesecake.
