Cooking Diary #35

Ohayo gozaimasu!

I know I am supposed to write about Godiva Cafe following my blog entry on Beijing National Stadium yesterday. But I would rather show you what I cooked for lunch this morning today before heading to work.

Stir frying takes time and lots of washing up so I would rather do steaming if possible. So, I got Dad to thaw half a whole chicken and chopped them into small pieces. Marinated the chicken pieces with sauces and a couple of smashed garlic cloves before putting them in the fridge overnight for the marinade to set.

Sprinkle some washed wolfberries on top of the chicken pieces and bring to steam over a pot of simmering water on medium high heat for about 30 to 35 minutes.
