18102015 / Ximply Chriz Cafe

This is a way overdue food blog entry. San Diann, Clara and I met up for a gathering on one of the Sundays in October. We had lunch at Pho Hoa Restaurant in Kiulap before settling in at Ximply Chriz Cafe for dessert. We were spoiled for choices for cafes around Regent Square area recently. There are Nerdee Cafe, The Library Cafe and De’Olde Cottage but we decided to go Ximply Chriz Cafe as they have more choices for desserts.

Belgium Hot Chocolate | B$4.50

San Diann’s choice of beverage and it came with a piece of marshmallow. He specifically requested for low sugar but it was still tad bit sweet for his liking. But all in all, he was pretty satisfied with his order.

Vanilla Latte | B$4.50

I can’t remember what Clara ordered for herself but I think this was Vanilla Latte. Should not have procrastinated in the first place. LOL!

Melbourne Latte | B$3.00

Wondered what’s the difference between Melbourne Latte and the usual Cafe Latte? According to the waitress, the former contained less milk content compared to the latter. Hence, I chose Melbourne Latte over Cafe Latte. Taste wise, good but bitter. But it was okay as I am used to bitter coffee.

Baked Green Tea Cheesecake | B$5.00

This was my second time having this and it was still good as I remembered. Not at all sweet and it comes with a slight salty taste. Green tea taste was moderate hence doesn’t make the cheesecake taste all bitter. If you are a green tea and cheesecake lover, do try this. I am sure you will like it as much as I do.
