I was at Fleur-de-lys Bakeshop in Kiulap last Saturday evening before meeting my colleagues for dinner. I went out early from home as I do not have to get stuck in after work traffic. Therefore, I have some spare time to kill before heading for dinner.
Upon arriving at Fleur-de-lys Bakeshop, it took me quite some time to decide if I want a New York Baked Cheesecake or Classic Carrot Cake. Settled with the latter as I do not want anything heavy before dinner.
Classic Carrot Cake | B$5.70
This was by far the best Carrot Cake which I had tasted. It came with generous portion of walnuts and pineapples! I love Carrot Cake with pineapples. Majority Carrot Cake sold in Brunei only came with walnuts pieces.
I intended to home bake Carrot Cake but no one in my family likes Carrot Cake as much as I do. Perhaps I am gonna try for once if I could find a recipe which only yields a 6 inches cake?
