After our lunch session at BELLUNO Cafe yesterday afternoon, we headed to Fleur-de-lys Bakeshop located nearby for desserts. We were contemplating between multiple coffee venues but decided that Fleur-de-lys Bakeshop was the ideal one as no car ride was required. LOL!
Tiramisu | B$5.50
Shew Hiang ordered this and shared it among the four of us. Both Shew Hiang and I agreed that their Tiramisu was a sweeter than we last remembered and the layered sponge cakes were lacking in coffee taste.
Baked Cheesecake | B$6.80
It took me quite some time to decide what I wanna order. I wanted to order a slice of Carrot Cake but I am not sure if the three of them liked my exotic taste when it comes to desserts. I have friends who do not like the taste of cinnamon. I, on the other hand loves cinnamon.
So, I decided to stick with this safe option – Baked Cheesecake. I liked the cheese as it was rich and dense but it was not as smooth as I liked it to be. The biscuit base was however a disappointment for me as I preferred the biscuit base which they had for Mango Cheesecake.
