After all the food reviews for the past few days, it is time for a skincare product review. Coming up today is Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser. If you had been reading my blog long enough, you probably would like realized that I am quite an Elizabeth Arden user. I was first introduced to Elizabeth Arden by a colleague of mine and I had been using quite a lot of their products since then.
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser
This is a 50ml product that I am reviewing today and I got it as a freebie sample from my previous few Elizabeth Arden hauls. I think I have got three of this as the aunt of my colleague had been generous when it comes to samples everytime I purchased from her. She even gave me a full size Elizabeth Arden Pretty once.
According to the information provided by Elizabeth Arden on their website, cleaning combination skin is a balancing act: oilier areas need to be well-cleansed without depleting vital moisture. The foam’s micro-beads gently cleanse and exfoliate while leaving skin with the perfect balance of hydration.
The consistency of the foam is a little bit runny compared to the other range of facial cleansers from Elizabeth Arden. There are micro-beads which act as exfoliating agent to the skin. The beads are small in size and they are not harsh on the skin. The foam has a generic Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference fragrance, which is refreshing.
I liked that the cleanser is not harsh to the skin albeit it comes with exfoliating properties. Most importantly, it did not leave my skin feeling all tight and dry after cleansing. As a matter of fact, it leaves my skin a soft, smooth and slippery feeling after cleansing. According to the BA at Elizabeth Arden, this facial cleanser works just fine as your daily cleanser albeit it works as an exfoliator. I am not using this as my daily cleanser but once or twice per week.
So, here’s what I think of Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser in a nutshell:
Pros:
1. Smells pleasant.
2. Gentle to the skin albeit it comes with exfoliating properties.
3. Doesn’t leave skin feeling tight after cleansing.
4. Affordable.
Cons:
None that I could think of.
