It is finally Friday tomorrow, which mean I will be on my overnight trip to Miri with Clara and San Diann the following day. I had come up with a list of things which I wanted to buy when in Miri – new skincare products and portable external hard disk for my overloading recently downloaded drama series and movies in my laptop.
Clara and San Diann handed me the responsibility of finding eateries to try out while we are in Miri this weekend. It kind of stress me out to be honest as I am not sure if they will like my choices. I found a few via Facebook and Instagram which I wanted to try out but I doubt we had the time and tummy space to do so. So, I think I am going to choose the best few and stick with them. I will be bringing my laptop with me. So hopefully, I will be able to do some updating while I am there.
Anyways, today’s blog entry is a skincare product review – Biore Facial Wash Hydrating. I bought this product from Mannings in Shanghai around September 2014.
Biore Facial Wash Hydrating
It is pretty hard to find Biore foam facial wash across Malaysia. To be honest, I don’t even think Malaysia has this kind of foam facial wash but the commonly found paste type. However, you can get Biore foam facial wash in Singapore but it comes in another kind of packaging. This is China, Taiwan and Hong Kong packaging if I am not wrong.
The texture of this facial wash is foamy. The foam is extremely soft, fine and delicate instead of bubbly. It comes with a fresh floral scent which I like. The dispenser came with a cap lock thingy for convenience in case you want to bring the product with you while traveling. That way you would not have to worry about spillage or anything inside your luggage.
So, how do you use this facial cleanser? Take a pump or two onto your palm and gently apply the foam onto your face. Massage your skin in circular motion for approximately 30 seconds or so before rinsing the foam off with lukewarm water. I like that it didn’t strip skin moisture as my skin felt soft and smooth after cleansing.
So, here’s what I think of Biore Facial Wash Hydrating in a nutshell:
Pros:
1. Soft, fine and delicate foam texture.
2. Fresh floral scent.
3. Doesn’t strip skin moisture.
4. Skin felt soft and smooth after cleansing.
5. Cleanses skin well enough.
6. Affordable.
Cons:
1. Hydrating effect? Meh …
2. Unavailable in Brunei or Malaysia.
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5
Price: RMB25 (Mannings, Shanghai)
Repurchase? Nope
