As mentioned in my previous blog entry, I met up with Jennifer this afternoon for lunch before she flies to Seoul next Tuesday for a week long holiday. The cafe was extremely packed at the time we arrived as there was a big bunch of patrons arriving before us. More and more patrons starting to fill up the place later on when we were done with our food.
Without further ado, let me show you what the both of us had for lunch. By the end of the meal, we both agreed that we should have ordered one main course to share so that we have tummy space for desserts later on. As we were both full from our main courses, we skipped desserts this time round albeit I was tempted to try their Durian Tart.

I had Flat White today instead of my usual Mocha or Chai Latte and it was served with my favorite Butter Cookie and Cranberry Oatmeal Cookie.

Battered Seabass with chili crab OR salted yolk dip, served along with regular OR coffee fries and coleslaw

I went for both dips as Jia mentioned on her Dayre that both dips were good. Well, both Jennifer and I preferred the chili crab dip more than the salted yolk dip. It was just our personal preferences as we are just not so into salted egg yolks. I think we were more concerned about the calories count. LOL!
The battered seabass was finger licking good! The batter crust remained crunchy after some time. The fries were good too but some turned little bit soggy after a while to which I think they were not fried to the right texture in the first place.

Jennifer’s choice of lunch. She had coffee fries while I had the regular fries so that we can try both kinds to compare albeit I had tried coffee fries previously when I went with the gang some time last month. However, I do find that they were rather heavy with the seasoning this time round. Jennifer was satisfied with her choice of lunch and she mentioned that the beef patties were properly cooked.
Flour & Butter Cafe had revised their business hours and they are now open from 9AM to 6PM on every Sunday. It is their first opening during daytime on Sunday today and business looked extremely good. Most of the patrons came in big groups.
