I just got back from Singapore yesterday afternoon. Sister and I intended to get into Singapore yesterday morning at 8AM for our flights but we were afraid that it will be too risky for a 12PM noon flight. Moreover, it is a Monday whereby most JBians commute to Singapore for work in the early morning after a weekend break. So, we decided to get into Singapore a day before and we reached V-Hotel Lavender before 4PM.
We booked for a night at Carlton Hotel nearby City Hall prior to our departure from Johor Bahru (JB) but the booking did not go through. Ctrip later informed us that the standard room we wanted was fully booked out. So, we resorted to V-Hotel Lavender again for the ideal location and Lavender Station is located underneath the hotel. There are lots of eateries nearby. And therefore, you would not have to worry about food even if your room do not come with complimentary breakfast.
I will be blogging about our JB short trip shortly but they are mostly on food as we did not do touristy stuff this time round. It was a short trip for some errands running. But anyways, I had finally completed watching 1% of Something while in JB and it was pretty good to be honest. No emotional storyline for me but good enough if you want something with a romantic touch.
Hwarang: The Poet Youth Warrior
Finally started watching Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth and it was pretty modern for a historical Korean drama series. I am also watching Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon at the same time albeit it had only started airing the first few episodes.
