Sister and I were in Johor Bahru (JB) last weekend for some errands running. We flew into Singapore on Saturday morning and hired a private car service which brought us into JB from Singapore Changi Airport. Traffic congestion was horrendous and it took us almost four hours to reach Annie’s crib from Singapore when it could have only taken us an hour with smooth traffic.
Sunday was a free and easy day for us as Annie had a seminar to attend during the day. Both Sister and I decided to travel into Singapore a day earlier than planned as we do not want to get stuck by the Singapore border on Monday morning.
We ordered UberX to AEON Tebrau City for brunch before our ride into Singapore in the afternoon. Annie recommended us Lavender Cafe located inside the mall but I decided to try out Just Want Coffee, Homies instead as reviews of the said cafe had been good. Annie had previously recommended us Just Want Coffee, The Factory 30 too.
Their menu booklet looked like a furniture catalog to me instead of a food menu. Menu is not extensive in my opinion but sufficient enough. Their menu comes in two languages – English and Mandarin. There are two different pricing printed on their menu – weekdays and original pricing.

This was what Sister had the other day. The poppy seed bagel was good and it was even better when topped with Norwegian Smoke Salmon.
Scrambled Egg Curry Rice | RM14.90
I ordered this for myself and had contemplated between meat or without meat. I settled with without meat in the end. LOL! The scrambled egg was done nicely and it went well with the Japanese curry gravy. However, the rice was slightly dry for my liking.
