Kaylie and I met for coffee earlier this month at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Supa Save Mata-Mata. I intended to go Flour & Butter Cafe for their coffee and cakes but Kaylie could not go far as she had to return home early to finish some accounting works. So, we stick to CBTL since we were doing our grocery shopping at Supa Save at the time.
Having tried the Mint Mocha at Da Paolo Gastromania in Singapore earlier last month, I grew to love it. I was craving for Mint Mocha the other day and asked the Cashier at CBTL if they have it. It was not on their menu but they could customize it for me by adding two pumps of their peppermint syrup into the Mocha Latte.
Unfortunately, it was not as good as the Mint Mocha I had at Da Paolo Gastromania. The taste was not as distinctive. I practically could not taste the peppermint in my Mocha Latte but Kaylie claimed that she could smell it but subtle. There was no picture of my Mint Mocha as it was served in a takeaway paper cup instead of their in-house glass.

Blueberry Cheesecake | B$6.80
The price was rather steep for a piece of Blueberry Cheesecake. The cheesecake was a baked version topped with gelatinize blueberry compote. The cheesecake was nice. It was rich and dense at the same time. It makes a perfect cheesecake when you are craving for one but gets sickening when having too much. I was only able to finish half of the Blueberry Cheesecake.
