Skincare Buys #11

If you had been following my blog regularly enough, you would knew that I had recently returned from my holiday vacation in Singapore. Singapore is one of the countries which I would always stock up on skincare products as they are relatively cheaper and extensive choices as compared to Brunei. However, it is always cheaper to purchase from Malaysia due to the inflation of Ringgit Malaysia (RM).

Without further ado, let me show you what I had purchased from Singapore!

Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water | S$19.90

This is one of the latest introductions of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. It is more expensive than the regular Micellar Cleansing Water. The highlight of this product is that the micellar cleansing water is oil-infused with floral fragrance. It is retailed at S$19.90 at Guardian, Singapore but an additional 20% discount will be given if you purchase two or more of the same item in a single receipt.

Bioderma Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel | S$33.90

I found this product at Watsons first and bought it as I am quite a fan of Bioderma facial cleansers. After payment, I went over to Guardian located nearby to purchase Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Micellar Cleansing Water but only to find that they are selling this product even cheaper at 20% off. So, I returned to Watsons and requested for a refund and the Cashier asked me the reason for returning the said product. I answered in all honesty and said it was cheaper at Guardian. LOL!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | B$6.10

I purchased this in Brunei prior to flying Singapore as I thought I would need a travel size makeup remover and this comes in just the perfect size. However, I ended up not bringing this with me to Singapore and brought Shiseido SENKA Perfect Gel instead. I like that it is handy in size but definitely not to be carried inside cabin luggage as it is exceeds the minimum 100ml policy.

fresh Soy Face Cleanser | S$21

innisfree Green Tea Cleansing Water | S$15.30

This was originally S$15.30 as stated above but The SHILLA was doing a promotion whereby you will get additional discount for purchasing two or more Korean skincare products. If my memory serves me well, I think it was 10% off for any two Korean skincare products and 15% for any three and above Korean skincare products.

Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream | S$44.70

Laneige Foam Cleanser Moisture_EX | S$23.10

I wanted to get Laneige White Dew Milky Cleanser but they were out of it. So, I got this instead. It was a value buy as I got additional 15% discount for purchasing more than two pieces of Korean skincare products.

Shu Uemura Brow:Sword | S$53

Shu Uemura Hard Formula | S$25.60

Before flying to Singapore, I asked Andrea what is her current favorite brand for eyebrow pencil that she would recommend. She recommended me Shu Uemura as it is longer lasting as compared to some of the other brands which she had used. As a matter of fact, she recommended me Hard Formula as it does not break easily. I am a fan of Lancôme Le Crayon Sourcils but the lead breaks easily when dropped. I dropped it once and the whole thing was damaged.

So, this summed up my skincare loots from Singapore. I am still considering if I should get myself another Lancôme Le Crayon Sourcils from Miri tomorrow. Despite that it broke easily when dropped, I liked the easy application as compared to Shu Uemura. The wonder of Shu Uemura Brow:Sword and Hard Formula is that color looked extremely soft and natural after application.
