I went for dinner on my own last Tuesday evening after work as I felt like having pasta. It was too late to ask if my friends were available for dinner. So, I decided to dine in alone and get myself some me time after two long weeks of work. When I was in Gadong some time last week, I found out that Fratini’s Restaurant is having 50% discount for all pastas and pizzas.
Instead of driving all the way to Centrepoint Fratini, I dropped by Piccolo Fratini instead. The restaurant was pretty empty at the time when I arrived despite it is month end and payday period. However, the restaurant started to fill up with a family of four adults and several kids slowly after.

I am impressed that despite they are having a 50% discount on all pastas and pizzas, they weren’t skimp with the ingredients. The portion was large in my opinion to the extent that I felt so full by the end of the meal. My pasta dish came with two mussels, prawns, squid and clams.
There were too many clams in my pasta which I only half of them as clams could be an allergen to my body at times depending on the freshness. But I have to say that I don’t find the prawns fresh due to the texture. The pasta sauce was salty at first but the flavor gets stronger the more you eat.
All in all, I only paid B$8 for my Linguine Al Frutti Di Mare after promotion discount. The discount is no longer valid anymore as the last day of promotion happened to be the day when I was there.
