21112017 / Little Audrey’s Café

I went for manicure and pedicure session at Mook & Jasmine after work this evening as the ingrown nail is starting to bother me. Thank goodness that the salon is still open at the time when I arrived without making any appointment beforehand. Dinner tonight was at Little Audrey’s Café on my own. The cafe wasn’t so packed as compared to my last visit when I went with my colleagues two weekends ago.

Straits Chai | B$3.50

I wanted to have something hot but not coffee. So, I went for hot tea in a pot for one. I had been drinking Straits Chai recently. I prefer the Straits Chai from Bello Cafe as it tasted more spiced for my liking.

Seafood Pesto Penne | B$12.90

The portion was scarily big, that was the first thing which went through my mind when this was placed right in front of me. It came with generous amount of seafood – dory fillets, shrimps and scallops. According to Shew Hiang, the pesto sauce looked intimidating in appearance when I sent this picture over to Whatsapp group chat.

Some of the penne were under cooked in my opinion. The scallops were nicely done, at least they weren’t chewy in texture like the ones I had before. The pesto sauce was good but tad bit salty. I couldn’t finish all so I brought home half of it as breakfast the next morning.
