21012018 / Flour & Butter Cafe

Sister and I had late brunch at Flour & Butter Cafe last Sunday afternoon. We were supposed to leave home for brunch early but then we ended up leaving around noon. By the time we were at Flour & Butter Cafe, we were famished.

Iced Chai Tea Latte | B$4.50

Green Tea Latte | B$5.50

Both Sister and I requested for soy milk for our beverages. My Iced Chai Tea Latte tasted quite lacking of Chai. Perhaps I should request for more Chai syrup next time?

Pan Fried Seabass | B$11.90

seabass served with garlic sauce and mashed potato pumpkin purée

Tom Yam Pasta with Seabass | B$11.90

It didn’t take long to decide what I wanted to eat as I had always wanted to try out their Tom Yam Pasta with Seabass. When Jia tried the said pasta for the first time, she commented that it was very good. True enough, the pasta was flavorful of Tom Yam but rather oily at the bottom.

The seabass was pan-fried to perfection. The flesh was juicy and tender. However, the skin was salty. All in all, it was a good pasta dish and I will definitely return for second but perhaps with lesser oil.
