Went out after breakfast this morning for manicure and pedicure session at the salon that I frequent. There weren’t much customers when I walked in as it was still early. Most of the roads around town area were temporarily closed in the morning so it is a hassle having to go town area on a Sunday morning.
I managed to get grocery shopping done at both Hua Ho, Kiulap and Supa Save Mata Mata after the manicure and pedicure session. It was about time for lunch when I was done shopping at Hua Ho, Kiulap so off I went for lunch at Flour & Butter Cafe.
Flour & Butter Cafe had recently revised their business hour for Sunday. Instead of opening at 9AM like before, they now open from 12PM until 9PM.

I had been tempted to get myself Chai Latte but went for Dark Chocolate instead. As usual, all hot beverages came served with their house made cookies. I love their Peanut Butter Cookies. It tasted distinctive of peanut butter.
Chicken Roulade | B$11.90

Chicken Roulade is a seasonal item as it wasn’t listed on their regular menu. Their current special is Poké Plate which I’m not interested at the moment. So, I ordered their Chicken Roulade served with Nantua sauce. I had no idea what a Nantua sauce is prior to ordering the dish.
The Nantua sauce was served separately in a condiment cup. To be honest, I didn’t exactly like the sauce but it is entirely subjective to personal preference. It tasted quite “prawn-ish” to me, almost like the Fresh Prawn Bisque which I previously had. The Chicken Roulade was good in my opinion. The meat were juicy and tender as they used the meat of a chicken thigh. Aside from the seasoned vegetables, there was a generous portion of mashed potatoes too.
