So, I arrived Singapore on Friday morning and headed straight to Sister’s place with Grab from the airport. Sister suggested that I could take the train since I have so much extra time this time round. I on the other hand preferred Grab because I had a luggage and two hand carry this time round.
I intended to head out straight after I had unpacked and showered but I ended up staying in until Sister was ready to go off from work. She worked from home on that day. We went to Sunday Folks located at Holland Village for desserts.
Sunday Folks comes from the same people behind Creamier. They have the same flavors as Creamier but limited. Their ice-creams are served in the form of soft serve instead of in scoops.
Without further ado, let me show you what we had at Sunday Folks the other day!
Fresh Baked Waffle with Single Soft-Serve | S$12.85
We had Earl Grey Lavender. Sunday Folks is offering four flavors only for their soft serve – Earl Grey Lavender, Sea Salt Gula Melaka, Roasted Pistachio and Dark Chocolate. I had previously tried both Earl Grey Lavender and Sea Salt Gula Melaka. I personally preferred the former more than the latter.
I love their freshly baked Belgian waffle. It had the kind of crispy outer texture but soft and fluffy on the inside. We had also added some Sea Salt Honeycomb on the side and it was good! The soft serve however was a disappointment for us. We were expecting a soft and smooth kind of texture but we got icy texture instead.
