07072018 / Menya Musashi, Singapore

I just realized I had missed out posting about my dinner alone on my first night in Singapore. After desserts at Sunday Folks, Sister and I took MRT to City Hall as she was meeting her ex-boss who was in town for a meeting.

I didn’t feel like walking much looking for dinner so I settled with Menya Musashi since I had been there before. The restaurant wasn’t extremely packed despite that it was dinner time. I was escorted into the restaurant shortly after I walked to the queue counter located by the entrance.

I felt like having ramen when I saw another diner having it but the portion was rather heavy for me. I got Fried Chicken Toji instead after contemplating between rice and noodle.

Fried Chicken Toji | S$14.90

I got Fried Chicken Toji in a set meal and it came with my main course, salad, rice, miso soup and tea. Fried Chicken Toji without the sides would be S$10.90. The Fried Chicken Toji was average in my opinion.  It was nothing to shout of. The egg base was salty and had to be eaten with rice to neutralize the saltiness.
