San Diann and I met up yesterday afternoon for lunch. It was pouring cats and dogs at the time when I was about to leave from home. Good thing was that the heavy downpour subsided very shortly after. Another round of sudden heavy downpour came again as I was taking the elevator to go to the Flavor Food Hub inside Little Soho.
First thing I did when I walked into Flavor Food Hub was to check out Brukori stall. Imagine my shock when I found out that they are open at 1PM on Sundays and it was only 12PM at the time. San Diann and I then decided that we will have coffee or tea while we wait for Brukori to open since there was nowhere else we could go given the terrible weather condition.
This was my second visit to t-Lounge by Dilmah. My first was earlier this year in January with a group of Sister’s ex-classmates. Click here if you’re interested to read my review of t-Lounge by Dilmah on my first visit.
Shortly after we placed our orders, we were served complimentary welcome drinks. They were iced Honey Lemon (if my taste bud doesn’t fail me). LOL! It was overly sweet and yet bitter at the same time despite being refreshing. The bitterness may have come from the lemon.
Cinnamon T-Kitsch | B$5.90
finest Single Region Ceylon Tea brewed strong and bright, blended with condensed milk and infused with Natural Cinnamon, tea with a touch of kitsch!
It tasted very similar to our local Teh Tarik but with cinnamon taste in it. The sweetness level was just fine for me but would be better if lower. It was definitely not as sweet as the complimentary welcome drink. I wouldn’t mind returning for their T-Kitsch but I would try their Ginger or Lemongrass T-Kitsch next time.
