After my unsuccessful attempt for lunch at Brukori on last Sunday, I returned this evening after work. The weather had been chilly for the past few days and it calls for a steaming hot Kimchi Jigae. Kimchi Jigae is also known as Kimchi Stew in English.
Unfortunately, Kimchi Jigae was sold out this evening and the chef apologetically told me that they would only be serving Bibimbap, Gimbap and Kimchi Ramyun. Both Kimchi Jigae and Tteokbokki were sold out. I ordered myself Bibimbap since I am not so much of a Kimchi Ramyun fan.
Tuna Bibimbap | B$7.00
I had tried their Chicken Bibimbap previously so I had Tuna Bibimbap this time round. They were generous with the ingredients. It was colorful underneath the sunny side up. The Gochujang was on the sweeter side and slightly spicy. It wasn’t as spicy as the ones that I had before. I loved that the tuna didn’t taste fishy.
I don’t normally finish a portion of Bibimbap by myself. Guess what? I wiped clean the entire dish and it explained how good it was.
