Rumah Gelato now has three branches in the Sultanate. They had recently opened another branch in Serusop, next door to Bake Culture. Mom, Sister and I went out for grocery shopping after dinner. We were in Kiulap so I suggested that we drop by Rumah Gelato since we were already in the area.
I was hoping that they serve Earl Grey and Chai Tea Latte. Unfortunately, both were unavailable yesterday. It was near closing time and most of bestselling flavors were sold out. According to one of the staffs, Chai Tea Latte is not a regular item on the menu. It hadn’t been well received but I am hoping that they will bring in the flavor again.
Yam, Coffee Dream & Crunchy Speculoos | B$5.00
We were being given testers to try before we decide on the flavors. My personal favorite as of now is Crunchy Speculoos. The texture of the gelato had been slightly different compared to my first visit. Click here for more details if you’re interested.
The ones we had yesterday, the consistency was more on the thicker side. They were harder to scoop and it gave out an almost mozzarella cheese kind of pulling effect. Crunchy Speculoos was sweet as expected. According to Sister, she liked that Yam wasn’t overly sweet. Mom, who had Coffee Dream complimented that the coffee taste was distinctive.
