It was a busy day yesterday. I stayed most of my day outside with our minimal hours at home in between. I went for a walk at Tasek in the morning and had breakfast with my colleagues in Gadong. I came home to shower after breakfast and headed out for lunch with San Diann at Ricardo’s Catering in Jerudong Park.
After our dessert session at Geo Eats, I went grocery shopping for eggs and baking soda. Came home to bake two loaves of Banana Slow Cake. Dinner was at Pattaya Thai Food & Catering with Jennifer and CY. With all the “food-athon” I had yesterday, I wouldn’t be running out of topic to blog about in the next few days. LOL!
Anyways, Jia and I had some gelatos after our dinner at The Manhattan FISH MARKET the other night. It was pretty quiet at the time we walked in with only a table of diners. However, the dessert cafe started to fill in with more and more diners shortly after.
Young Coconut & Salted Caramel | B$3.50
Jia and I chose a flavor each. I was excited to see that they were serving Durian flavor and requested for a small tester. It was quite good actually but I thought it might compromise the flavor which Jia chose.
Jia chose Young Coconut as it didn’t taste very sweet comparatively to the other flavors she tried. Young Coconut flavor came with small bites of coconut flesh. Their version of Salted Caramel was surprisingly not as sweet as I expected it to be. Both Jia and I were unable to finish our gelatos due to our heavy dinner earlier on.
Cookie Monster is a crowd pleaser based on my observation. Not sure if it really tastes good or the blue colored gelato attracts attention.
