Good morning! I am back in Roasted Sip again three weeks after my last visit. I am meeting San Diann for lunch later so I thought I’ll use the extra time before lunch to do some work.
I didn’t go for a walk at Tasek this morning as I had been experiencing pain on my heel. So, I am taking a break for today. I still woke up early despite not having to and met up with my colleagues for breakfast at Shi Wei Tian Kopitiam.
As mentioned in my previous blog entry, I went ChaTraMue last Friday evening for some soft-serve after seeing @missyapsays posted her two tones soft-serve from ChaTraMue on her Instagram. Unfortunately, the two tones soft-serve would be temporarily unavailable as they are currently serving Matcha Durian Soft-Serve.

I felt disappointed not able to get what I wanted but I didn’t want to leave empty handed either. So, I got myself a Cha Yen Soft-Serve instead.
Texture wise, it wasn’t as smooth and creamy as their Matcha Durian Soft-Serve. It was more on the icy side. Surprisingly, it wasn’t as sweet as I expected. Taste of Cha Yen turned distinctive as the soft-serve melts! Would I return for their Cha Yen Soft-Serve? Honestly, I don’t think so.
