I was supposed to meet up with Jennifer last Friday evening but I postponed the dinner a day before. I went home straight after work and drove Mom out for grocery shopping. I was feeling rather hungry while at Hua Ho, Kiulap and we dropped by Dream Cones for some gelato.
I was hoping that Rumah Gelato would have either Musang King or Durian Kuning flavor but they have neither one that day. I walked over to Dream Cones instead since I remembered they had it when I went with Jia last month. Much to my disappointment, they didn’t have it either.
Strawberry Cheesecake & Pure Chocolate | B$4.00
Mom and I chose a flavor each. I chose Strawberry Cheesecake and she chose Pure Chocolate. I was surprised that she would choose Pure Chocolate as she doesn’t like chocolate desserts in general as she finds them too sweet for her liking most of the time. She can be so unpredictable sometimes.
Strawberry Cheesecake is a premium flavor hence it was 50 cents extra compared to regular flavors. It didn’t taste cheesy in my opinion but more like yogurt with a tangy taste. It came with tiny cookie crumbs which resembled the cookie base in a cheesecake. Pure Chocolate on the other hand wasn’t too bad with a bittersweet aftertaste.
