When I came across R&B Tea profile on Instagram, my attention was instantly drawn to their Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cheese Brûlée! R&B Tea has a few outlets across the island and the nearest one to me was Marina Square. On the day when I was solo shopping, I made a trip to Marina Square while I was on my way to Suntec City from City Hall Station.
It took me a short while to locate R&B Tea as it was my first time in Marina Square. Lucky for me, there was no queue before me when I reached but I did have to wait for the barista to complete her previous order before she was able to attend to me. I ordered myself their Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cheese Brûlée with no hesitation!

First impression, it was OMG sweet and I cringed when I took the first sip filled with sweetness. Having said so, I couldn’t stop myself from drinking it despite the sweetness. However, I wasn’t huge of the texture of their boba. I find them rather overcooked in my opinion. I prefer my boba with a bit more texture to which San Diann defined as hard to chew. LOL!
The Cheese Brûlée was alright in my opinion but can get “jelak” when you finished the whole thing so I had more than half left before I chucked the drink. All in all, it was not bad for an experience but definitely not something which I would consume on regular basis. Honestly speaking, this is not something that you should touch if you are watching your sugar or dietary intake.
