30102018 / Roasted Sip, Serusop

It was my day off last Tuesday so I went Roasted Sip for breakfast. Roasted Sip was empty at the time I walked in and a few more patrons came in shortly after. San Diann and I had arranged to meet for coffee and donuts at TWO SONS COFFEE later in the afternoon. So, I decided not to go for coffee drink in the morning.

I was trying to learn a few tricks from another fellow Instagrammer on food photography. Apparently, this picture didn’t look good enough. I have a love hate relationship with my new macro lens. I love it when it was able to produce me with the result that I wanted and vice versa.

The thing with my macro lens is that I couldn’t get it to focus on the spot that I want most of the time. Jennifer had been telling me to use the Aperture mode on my camera but it wasn’t easy to use. You have to control your ISO and whatnot.

Anyways, let’s not dwell further into the macro lens thingy and get on started with what I intended to blog for today!

RS Chocolate | B$6.00

As I would be having coffee in the afternoon, I got myself RS Chocolate in the morning. Regular Hot Chocolate is B$5.50 if my memory serves me well. So, the extra 50 cents was for the chocolate flavored whipping cream.

I loved the texture and taste of their chocolate. It was pretty rich in my opinion and the whipping cream added more sweetness into the chocolate drink. If you love hot chocolate drink, do give their RS Chocolate a try!

Spinach Quiche | B$4.80

Roasted Sip offers four different Quiches – Spinach, Mushroom, Salmon and Lorraine. I had tried all of the first three except for Lorraine. Reason being, Lorraine Quiche comes with beef.

Their Spinach Quiche was good and I think I liked it better than their Salmon Quiche. Spinach Quiche came with a good amount of spinach and mozzarella cheese. You can see the cheese streaks as you cut open the quiche.
