I think it has been a while since the last time I posted of my home cooked dishes. Mom has been away in Singapore with Sister. It’s Dad and I at home now so I have to take up the kitchen duties. LOL!
To make my life easier, I resorted to cooking soups most of the time. All you need to do is clean the ingredients, dump them into a pot of boiling water and let them simmer until the flavors come out. Sounds easy, huh? Aside from cooking soups, another easy dish is omelette. Eggs go well with anything in my opinion. My favorites are tomatoes, onion, long beans and preserved radish. What are yours?
So, let me show you how much (or little) I had come up with in the past week! LOL!
Long Bean Omelette
Onion Omelette
It is relatively easier to prepare Dad’s breakfast comparatively to mine. All he needs for breakfast is some store bought frozen Mantou or vegetarian chicken patties with burger buns. When I am not eating clean, I will have the same breakfast too unless I am eating clean.
Oven Baked Chicken Teriyaki Salad Bowl
Base / Mixed Lettuce
Vege / Baby Corn, Japanese Cucumber, Cherry Tomatoes
Protein / Oven Baked Chicken Teriyaki
Sauce / Kewpie Roasted Sesame Dressing
So, this was what I had for breakfast this morning. I had finally finished all the mixed lettuce. Instead of having the regular tomatoes, I had cherry tomatoes that I got from Supa Save last Sunday. I bought a small piece of chicken thigh yesterday, de-boned and marinated it with some teriyaki sauce, spring onion, ginger and white wine.
