Mom and I went grocery shopping at Hua Ho, Manggis Mall last Tuesday evening. As I didn’t have any dinner before heading out, I felt the hunger as we were grocery shopping. We dropped by Roasted Sip, Serusop but they were closed early for an event that day. We ended up having late dinner at Tai Ka Luk Restaurant instead as I wanted a pork dish.
American Style Pork Chop with Rice | B$6.50
served with pork chops, sunny side up, pork ham and rice
The original price for this dish was B$6.00 but there was an additional charge of 50 cents as I requested for the rice to be replaced with egg fried rice. The pork chops were nicely marinated in and out. The meat were pretty tender in my opinion and easily sliced with just a spoon.
The sunny side up was nicely fried with oozing egg yolk when you poked into the yolk. I liked that the pork ham served weren’t salty in taste. I had my fair share of salty pork luncheon meat before.
