As I was going through the files in my pendrive, I noticed that I have yet posted about my last visit to TWO SONS COFFEE. It wasn’t a Donut Day so San Diann and I went for their other bakes. Without further ado, let me show you what we had!
Honey Orange | B$3.50
I have a weakness for citrus flavored bakes and I certainly wouldn’t give it a miss when I found out that it was available at TWO SONS COFFEE that day.
It tasted prominent of orange which I love. Cake was spongy on the inside but a bit chewy on the crust. Tasted sweet for me but it was in an acceptable range. I am pretty sure that the sweetness can be dampened with a cup of hot coffee.
Mocha Truffle Cupcake | B$2.80
When TWO SONS COFFEE first introduced their Mocha Truffle Cupcake, I was so intrigued! Don’t you think it looked extremely aesthetic? It was to me though. It was a chocolate filled cupcake with piped mocha flavored frosting on the top. You can even see the tiny coffee granules in the frosting.
It took me N times to get this shot and I am still not very satisfied with the outcome. The cupcake was filled with a good amount of chocolate sauce. The cupcake tasted prominent of chocolate in overall while the frosting gave it a more balance taste of coffee and chocolate together. Despite that it looked aesthetically pleasant to my eyes, I wasn’t a fan of it after trying it.
