Today’s post is supposed to be about my latest skincare regime but I have yet completed drafting it. So, I am going to review about Laneige Perfect Renew Eye Cream which I had been using for more than two months since I last used up Artistry Youth Xtend Enriching Eye Cream. I thought of going back with the Artistry eye cream but my hands were itching to try out new products with anti-ageing properties.
I considered getting one from Elizabeth Arden but the price is steep if purchased in Brunei. It will be a lot cheaper if I were to buy from the aunt of my colleague as she always give me special price. So, I approached the BA at Laneige counter and she recommended me this improved version of Perfect Renew Eye Cream. It used to come in a packaging with dual eye creams – day and night. But with this improved version, it can be used both day and night.
Laneige Perfect Renew Eye Cream
According to Laneige’s official website, Perfect Renew Eye Cream is an anti-wrinkle functional and deep-hydrating eye cream that repairs and moisturizes the fragile eye area. The product was made with the advanced ceramide water which strengthen the eye contours’ skin barrier, which is prone to dryness and damages. It helps keep the eye contour area moist and healthy. And with Tocopherol’s anti-oxidant effect, it smooth the eye contour area.
For hygiene reason, this product came with a skincare spatula which I did not use. I prefer using my ring finger to dish out the cream rather than with the use of a skincare spatula. As long as you wash your hands before getting your fingers into your skincare products, you are all good.
The texture of this eye cream is creamy and smooth. Application was easy and it gets absorbed onto the eye area very quickly. It does not leave any sticky after affect. Best of all, it smelled pleasant and refreshing of floral.
As mentioned above, I had been using this eye cream for more than two months. The area around my eyes were visibly both moisturized and hydrated. The eye cream did smooth out the eye contour areas as some of the fine lines underneath my eye areas which I had previously were not so obvious anymore.
So, here’s what I think of Laneige Perfect Renew Eye Cream in a nutshell:
Pros:
1. Hydrates and moisturizes eye areas.
2. Fine lines were less visible.
3. Smells nice.
4. Gets absorbed onto the skin easily and doesn’t leave a sticky after feeling.
Cons:
1. Expensive.

This product did work well enough on my skin but I think the price did not justify for them. I could have easily gotten Artistry Youth Xtend Enriching Eye Cream a lot cheaper and it works just as well or even better.
